* First of all, with a little less than 10 hours left to vote, a big thanks to the 33 people that have voted thus far. I know it’s a time consuming task, and I appreciate your effort. The voter turnout will just about match my expectations, which were admittedly high. Keep in mind that of the first 78 LAMBs, at least 3 sites are currently defunct, and a handful of others are live but totally inactive. So it’s close to 50% turnout...

(There’s a slight change to this, as Caitlin from 1,416 and Counting is going to be helping me out and taking over the Chops reins – details below.)
Email Caitlin up to one post from your site or as many posts as you’d like from other sites from the week of April 27-May 3. She will...
Time is running out! Voting for the LAMMYS ends Monday night at midnight Pacific time. Please don’t miss this chance to honor your peers (and maybe get honored yourself) as it won’t come around again for awhile.

I promise to make no more than two or three more reminder posts about the LAMMY deadline. 😉
Also, the deadline for entries into the...

I’ve seen in a few peoples’ LAMMY votes comments something about having to rush before the deadline and/or not being able to fully visit/judge the sites due to the deadline.
I’m not sure where the idea is coming from, but the deadline is not until next Monday, May 5th. So please, take your time – you’ve got a week!…

Email me up to one post from your site or as many posts as you’d like from other sites from the week of April 20-26. I will then use my editorial powers to pick the top ones – could be 5, could be 10 – I might settle on a given number once I see how many submissions I’m getting weekly....
It’s a tight race for Best Blog, with three or four horses running pretty close and 16 votes now in. Let’s get that number up to at least 25 by the end of the weekend. If you haven’t voted, what are you waiting for (besides having the time to inspect 75+ sites)?…
...I should have waited for Mrs. Fletch’s help on this, but she’s busy working. As such, I used the twin designing powerhouses of PowerPoint and Paint to make this masterpiece. Maybe she’ll make another later…
In the meantime, if you want to pimp your site and make one of these, go for it and I’ll put it up (thanks to Mikey of Spaghetti Sauce and Sweet Peas for the inspiration). Let’s have some...
Don’t mind me – still playing around with the format to use for these. I’m open to any ideas.

Judge your peers! Brag about your standing within the LAMB community! Win fabulous prizes! If the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences can recognize its own every year, so can the LAMB.
Here we are nearly six months and more than 75 LAMBs into this little project, and it appears to be a hit. Mrs. Fletch and I were discussing potential future LAMB events one day (as we do quite a bit) and she came up with the idea of...

“The film’s blistering power is owed almost entirely to the fact that it avoids politicizing one of the most hot-button issues in the world today.”

There’s a process I go through when I post every new LAMB site. First, I publish the profile post itself. Then, I go in and edit the LAMB scroll box to include the new site, followed by shooting off an email to the author to let them know that their profile has been posted. Finally, I’ll go into my Google Reader and add a subscription to the new site. (On occasion, I’ll go in and add a bunch of new sites to “the...
