I’ve seen in a few peoples’ LAMMY votes comments something about having to rush before the deadline and/or not being able to fully visit/judge the sites due to the deadline.

There’s a process I go through when I post every new LAMB site. First, I publish the profile post itself. Then, I go in and edit the LAMB scroll box to include the new site, followed by shooting off an email to the author to let them know that their profile has been posted. The LAMB Leaderboard is a way for the LAMB to scratch the backs of the sites that have scratched the LAMB’s back – in other words, it’s a ranking of the top 20 sites that are sending visitors to the LAMB. The leaderboard is updated monthly, typically within the first few days of the new month.
