Nick over at The Cinematic Katzenjammer is hosting an end-of-the-year event that gives out awards to both movies and bloggers. Appropriately named The Golden Katz, this award show is a way of giving love to some movies that won’t necessarily receive some attention come award season as well as some appreciation back to the movie blogging community. 

For now, you can nominate yourself, your favorite blogs, and your favorite films of 2012 until the end of the year. Come January, a list of the nominations will be posted and then you can again vote on who you want to see win one of the first Golden Katz Awards. Feel free to nominate yourself and spread the word.
