’twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring except… for the five of us on this podcast talking about Die Hard 2.
It’s the first ever festive-special Movie of the Month (not counting Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, which won regardless of its Christmas-setting) and the character-actor filled action sequel won the poll, allowing Will Slater to take another turn in the hosting seat. He was joined by show host Jay Cluitt, Jess Manzo, Kristen Lopez and Die Hard super fan DJ Valentine to determine the corrective collective noun for arseholes and pour as much scorn as possible onto the thoroughly deserving head of Jai Courtney.
Also on tap are some Rants and Raves of the week – how many rants could Jay possibly have in one week? – and a highly entertaining round of Last Lamb Standing.
Here’s what some other LAMBs had to say about the film:
It’s also time to vote on next month’s movie! I put out the call for MOTM Champions, and the responders are below. The gist is this: I ask for volunteers – people to select a film to be placed on the poll, then promote it on their site, Facebook, Twitter, whatever. Should their film win, they are guaranteed a spot on the LAMBcast episode where we will discuss said film. As a bonus (?), if they want they also get to host that segment of the show. The sites are listed along with the films in the poll below (and in the sidebar). You have one week to vote (and promote your movies!). I’ll be putting out the call for the next MOTM in a few weeks, so stay tuned.
The show can be found, of course, via iTunes – just do a search for “LAMBcast.” Also, I always post a link to the show on the LAMBcast’s Facebook page, and there’s a player there if you’d like to listen online.
