Hey there!
I’ll be covering the academy awards with the LAMB twitter account. For that purpose I’ll be using hashtag #lamboscar during the show.
Let the best movie win (or I’d rather want the Artist to win since I predicted it in a bunch of Oscar pools even though I haven’t seen it)!!

As some of you might have noticed there is a small event this up-coming weekend called the Oscars. A lot of people like to bet or predict the outcome and so do us LAMB’s.
I thought I’d plug the two official Oscar prediction pools that we support but also ask those of our members that have their own pool or know of a good one that should be on here.
If you have your own or know...

We apparently have two psychic LAMB’s!!! Thats at least my reading of this outcome since I think it was an achievement of the academy to manage to scramble together nine films with at least 5% top votes and still not include Drive!!!
Enough ranting, its happy times! On the next poll I’d like to find out how often you visit the LAMB site (you are currently on it if you for some reason didn’t know...

Oh hai there. Nolahn of the Bargain Bin Review (LAMB #380) here. You might recognize me from such podcasts as Lair of the Unwanted, the best nearly LAMMY-nominated podcast on the web, and that one time I was on the LAMBcast.
If you’re like me, you’re following along with all the Oscar coverage here at the LAMB and thinking, “Ugh! Oscars, Oscars, Oscars… If only there were some kind of imaginary award ceremony for bad...
Hey fellow lamb’s after being appointed the new Shepherd of the community I have decided to add a monthly feature on the lamb where I’ll have a chance to say thank you to a fellow lamb member that has done something good recently. It can be both blogging- and community wise. The main criteria is of course activities relating to the lamb.
The idea came about after Dan suggested a similar feature on the lamb...
This month on Wide Screen World, we’ve got the latest edition of the Freeze Frame roundtable discussion, in which a bunch of LAMB bloggers talk about what’s going on in the film world, and the past couple of months have seen some very significant events:

Hey, Japan Cinema here,
We recently interviewed Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda.
What you may not know about him is he is providing the score to one of the best action films coming out of Asia in some time, The Raid (it even ranked #1 on our best films of 2011 list)! Helmed by Linkin Park frontman Mike Shinoda and film composer Joseph Trapanese, who linked up with Daft Punk to complete the music to “Tron: Legacy” last...
How are you doing, Would you mind helping me out with this?
