Hello Lammies and other fellow Lambsters how are ewe?
Yes I have some new trailers as well as longer trailers of ones that have posted here before. The summer of 2012 just keeps getting better with the movies that are being released. I hope these titles will actual come to a theatre near me instead of just being shown on VOD. Let’s all have a look at them, shall we.
Magic...
Andrew here with another entry of Interview with a LAMBpire. I’m still anxiously awaiting (more) excellent entries for this month’s LAMB Casting of Woody Allen’s Interiors, but it’s time to fete the winner of the last LAMB Casting episode – Dan of PG Cooper’s Movie Reviews.
(If you have any questions you’d like to see featured in the Interview with a LAMBpire...
It’s Blusterin’ Time!
If you’re new to this feature or need a refresher, click the label at the bottom of this post and see the previous posts. Otherwise, here are the basics:
What I do is list a site; you critique it. But here’s the catch: to induce the most honest reactions, don’t leave the comment using your normal alias/login – instead, go anonymous, and be as brutally honest (or...
Good Morning my fellow lammies.
I don’t know about you, but it has been getting cold these last few days up here in the north where I hail from. This would not be a big deal except that last month we were getting into 80 degree weather. Now were back down to 35 degrees. With changes in climate like this, I’m glad I can head to a theatre once in a while to help keep warm. This week we got a new slew of trailers...
Andrew here, you’d have noticed that it’s been some time since a LAMB Casting entry. Apologies, but we’re back. This month’s entry is an oft forgotten Woody Allen film (but no less significant in its oeuvre) and I suspect that a number of you might not have seen it. I’m intrigued at the idea of re-casting it, though, because of the strong female focus and even if you haven’t seen the original don’t let that dissuade you...
So in some disappointing news, I only received one submission for this week’s Photoshop contest, “What If The Asylum Ripped Off Older Movies” and it was from “The Droid You’re Looking For“.
And so it is with that I’m gonna bring the LAMB Photoshop’s to a close. I’ve decided to do this due to the lack of interest. If no one’s gonna bother sending anything in but John from...
Hello Lammies.
I really hope you all had a great weekend and had lots of awesome, delicious, Easter food with your loved ones. We got some great movies heading your way in the upcoming months. Let’s all take a good look at the trailers now so we know what to see and what to skip.
Savages.
Seeing Oliver Stone’s name attached to this didn’t really...
Time for another opportunity for me to preach about something in here. This its all about being connected.
Having a smartphone is an awesome resource when being involved with the LAMB and the film blogosphere. I thought I’d list the top five LAMB related iPhone apps.
1. Twitter is an obvious choice if you already use it on your computer. However, it gets a total new dimension when tweeting...
Reminder that all LAMB Photoshops for round 12 are due Monday, April 9th, at 11:00 PM EST. The topic is: What If The Asylum Made Rip-Off Movies Of Classic Films Email submissions to [email protected]. And just to let you know, nobody sent in a submission yet. I hope you guys do cause I personally think this is a great idea for a topic and I hope it doesn’t go to waste. Thanks and good luck! -Jason…
...All right let’s not dawdle around with pointless small talk. Lets get to the nit and grit of some trailer talk.
As always I will be looking at two blockbusters and two art house flicks.
Total Recall
The new trailer for the remake of “Total Recall” posted this weekend and it has become part of a growing trend that needs to stop. This whole posting a fifteen sec preview...
Hey fellow lamb’s its that time a month again when I get the chance to call out one of our LAMB members. As usual this monthly award goes to a member that recently have done a lot of good for the LAMB community.
This months recipient could easily have been selected last month as well thanks to some superb Academy Awards coverage.
Its no surprise to anyone that follows David that he does a great job covering the...
Never Too Early Movie Predictions defends the top spot. Other noteworthy things are that French Toast Sunday yet again climbs as far as the podium.
Its also a bunch (8) of new entries this month which is awesome and shows indirectly that the LAMB’s are moving!
I’ve also decided that I will follow the top spot LAMB’s twitter account for the following month with the LAMB account so thats another reason why you...
