Just a reminder to send in those Lamb Photoshops by MONDAY JULY 4TH at 11:59PM EST! The theme of the shops is IF MICHAEL BAY REMADE CLASSIC FILMS. Email said photoshops to [email protected] and include your name and your website/blog.
I only got one submission and I’d really like to see this thing take off. If you’re worried about it being professional, don’t. Even if it’s something in MS Paint,...
It looks like enough of us are interested in a dvd swap to take it under consideration as a new LAMB feature. I’ll start planning on a system and details, but if anyone has any ideas or would like to head this up, please let me know in the comments or by email.
This new poll was inspired by a rant on a recent episode of the LAMBcast. Just out of curiosity, what do you think about film review aggregators, such as Rotten Tomatoes?...
It’s Blusterin’ Time!
If you’re new to this feature or need a refresher, click the label at the bottom of this post and see the first few posts. Otherwise, here are the basics:
What I do is list a site; you critique it. But here’s the catch: to induce the most honest reactions, don’t leave the comment using your normal alias/login – instead, go anonymous, and be as brutally honest (or...
Hi! Remember me? My name is Jason and I use to run the LAMB Chops and the Horror Chops. I’ve stop doing those due to poor turnout and now I’m passing the savings onto you!!!
Well, more like presenting you with a new feature for the LAMB! This is going to be our little pilot episode to see if any of you guys take to this. Here’s how it works:
I’ll give you a theme, and using any photo editing software you...
Andrew here. I’ve received your entries for LAMB Casting this month, recasting the 1950 classic All About Eve – and they sure are inspired. Now it’s time for all you LAMB members (and non-members) to start voting. Sure, you’re probably tired from voting for the LAMMY’s and what not (bombard Rachel if you want your results, ha) but this is simple. Just one click. You’ve got some great options...

After four months The Hollywood Revue dethrones MiNG Movie Reviews to rule the leaderboard. Congrats!
We have seven new/returning entrants to the board and down to 20% of the leaderboard being populated with the generic LAMB Banner. Send me your personalized LAMB Banners to get that percentage lower.
Speaking of LAMB Banners, ten (!) new ones have been added to the Gallery/random banner widget. Want yours in there? Just...
Karen is there wondering when you’re going to send in your ideas for recasting All About Eve. That’s the feature movie this month on LAMB Casting. We’re recasting the principal players and you have until next Thursday to send in your ideas.
Margo Channing (originally played by Bette Davis)
Eve Harrington (originally played by Anne Baxter)
Bill Sampson...

Well, it seems the For Your Consideration banners decorating the LAMB during the LAMMY nominations voting were very helpful, or at least entertaining, to most. We had a record-breaking 81 banners this year, up 16 from the 2010 LAMMYs. Thanks to all who sent them in and all the voters who actually took them under consideration.
And now for something new. There have been a few bloggers whom I regularly read discussing their DVD/Blu-Ray...
Andrew here, with another episode of LAMB Casting. We took a relatively new film the last time with P. T. Anderson’s Magnolia but this month we return to our classic roots and are recasting Joseph L. Mankiewicz’s 1950 Best Picture winner All About Eve. It’s a notorious ensemble (featuring one Oscar winning and four Oscar nominated performances) and it’s appeared time and time again on list of ...
