It’s Lambpardy time again!
It’s the last game of the first round of the 2021 Lambpardy tournament! After this show we’ll have all nine of the second round players, one of whom will become the 2021 Lambpardy Champardy! Who will it be? And, more pressingly, who will the 9th first round winner be? Well, it’s between Todd Liebenow, Doug Jamieson and Rachel Wagner, that much is for sure, and for added...
It’s the end of an era on the Lambcast. Jay has hosted since episode 200, but he’s now heading off for pastures new, and leaving Richard the keys to the Lambcast paddock. In commemoration, he threw himself a leaving party and invited all your favourite Lambcast guests to join in the fun! This show is the longest in Lambcast history, over 4 hours of mostly film-related nonsense and entertainment, enjoy!
Listen to the...
On the twenty-fourth day of the month of February, in the current year of the decade we currently call our own, the LAMB community suddenly encountered an incredible film to discuss. And this film discussion has surfaces, as such film discussions often do, in the seemingly most innocent and unlikely of places… the Lambcast!
That’s right, this month we’re celebrating the 1986 remake of Little Shop of...
Every day until the Oscars ceremony we’ll be highlighting a different category or movie here on the LAMB! Here’s a link to all the posts written so far:
Today, Doug Jamieson of The Jam Report is here to look at the nominees for Best Production Design.
Thanks Doug!

No matter how much we keep complaining about them, they still keep making movies! Let’s take a look ahead at the films we’re most looking forward to over the next year.
Jay was joined by Tony, Jess, DJ, Rebecca and Doug for what turned out to be a pretty long but also hugely enjoyable show! Also thanks to Richard, Amanda, Audrey, Rishabh, Rob, Mark, Nick, Simon, Aaron, Bubbawheat, Troy, Meg, Katy and Tim for...
The 92nd Academy Awards nominations were announced earlier today, so now we know who will be writing their acceptance speech hoping to deliver it on 9th February to the whole world as they get a golden statue to put on their mantle, but more importantly there’s only one question on everyone’s minds – who won the LAMB’s second annual Oscar Prediction pool? We had 13 entrants, thank you to everyone who played, but there can only be...
Well, as we anxiously await the results of this years Oscars Nominations later today, we have now locked in the votes of the 13 LAMB members who submitted their Oscar Nomination Predictions.
In just a few short hours, we’ll get to see which of us came the closest to picking the actual nominations in this very Topsy-turvy unpredictable year of Oscars.
Here are the predictions placed by everyone:
Aaron...The Terminator franchise is, as promised, back again, and despite the disappointing box office we’ve covered it anyway. In fact, this might well be the most in-depth yet highly entertaining Terminator: Dark Fate podcast currently available for human or robot consumption.
Jay was joined by DJ, Jeanette, Heather and Doug to not only take a liquid metal knife to the film’s plot, but also discuss the franchise...
No, we’re not joking, it’s the 500th episode!
As far as we’re concerned 500 episodes is worth celebrating, so to mark this momentous milestone regular hosts Jay and Richard thought the best solution would be, after being on many, many shows together in an only audio format, to actually meet in person and record a show in the same gosh-darn room. So Richard, along wit his daughter and regular guest Amanda,...
Jesus loves winners, and that means he must be a fan of Drop Dead Gorgeous, the wearer of July’s Movie of the Month tiara and sash, so let’s talk about it!
Jay and Richard were joined by the film’s champion, Doug, as well as Sean and newcomer Jon to discuss why Drop Dead Gorgeous was a critical and commercial failure, why it absolutely should not have been, plus lots of comparisons to the far...
The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon! We’re back to a no-theme month for July, which led to a nicely diverse mix of films, but as ever there can be only one winner. Fortunately we didn’t have to resort to a talent show or swimsuit competition to determine the outcome, because the winning film for July is… Drop Dead Gorgeous!
Congratulations to first-time MOTM champion Doug Jamieson from...
The toys are back in town, and here on the Lambcast we’re making use of the rare opportunity of a Pixar film being simultaneously released in the UK and USA (and Australia) by covering it on the show! So pick your moving buddy, grab your accessories and steer clear of the poisoned water hole, we’re going on a road trip!
Jay and Richard are joined by Doug and newcomer Thomas to discuss everything in the new film and...
