Hello everyone, it’s time again to show off all of the posts you’ve sent me for this months Director’s Chair so let’s get right down to what you made for the films of Akira Kurosawa.

Life vs...You know when you look forward to a film and it turns out to be really good? Well my most anticipated film of the year is amongst this week’s crop of Lambscores, and I’m overjoyed that it’s at the top of the pile, and that the rest of the LAMB community also deemed it good enough to make the Lambscores Top 10, hurrah! As well as Baby Driver, this week we also have reviews of The Beguiled, Despicable Me...

Hello everyone, sorry the reminder is going out a bit late but I’m still looking for features by you on the films of Akira Kurosawa. For a reminder of the films you can cover, go back to my original post here.
I look forward to receiving all of the features you send me.…
...Recently the world was saddened by the passing of George A. Romero who despite directing a number of fantastic horror movies, will no doubt forever be remembered as the Godfather of the zombie genre.
Of course zombie movies exsisted before Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead” with movies such as “White Zombie” and the Hammer horror “Plague of the Zombies” painting a very different...
One movie this week, and it ain’t a good one, so let’s get it over with, shall we? It’s the latest Transformers movie, and frankly that’s all I need to know. Here’s what the LAMB community had to say about Transformers: The Last Knight:

Like The Director’s Chair series being run by Tony, I think that this reignited series is a great way to get a look at what the members of the Lamb community think about the work of some of the most prolific actors/actresses who have been entertaining us all for so many years.
I plan to try and focus on an actor or actress every month who has a birthday in that given...
When Cars 3 was announced, if you’d told me that upon it’s released its Lambscore would be the highest of five movies that same week, I doubt I’d have believed you. 3.14/5 isn’t exactly an incredible score, but it’s a great deal better than many might expect based on the disappointing Cars 2. Anyway, here’s the scores for Cars 3, All Eyez On Me, 47 Meters Down,...
This month’s Acting School 101 teacher was Natalie Wood.
We received a total of 42 reviews for 15 films that Natalie Wood had parts in. Plus 2 general posts about her life and work.
That’s quite an impressive amount.
Let’s see what the members of the LAMB community thought of Natalie Wood’s career:

With Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk just around the corner, this month’s Movie of the Month could well be considered a companion piece to it, as this week we’re delving into Steven Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan.
As the movie’s champion Rob led the discussion, and was joined by super fan and regular host Jay, relative newcomers to the film Jess and Damien, and absolute first-timer...
It’s time to vote for the next Movie of the Month! You can vote at the bottom of the page. but first here’s the list of candidates:
Blue Thunder (1983) [Richard Kirkham, Kirkham A Movie A Day]
Clue (1985) [Sean Homrig, The 1001 Movie Podcast]
Midnight Run (1988) [Todd Liebenow, Forgotten Films]
My Girl (1991)...
There’s an unintentional connection between the three movies up for today’s Lambscores – they all have very dark, almost-but-not-quite black-and-white posters. Could this be because they all have an element of horror to them? Probably. That’s more likely than all the poster-printing companies having run out of magenta ink, so let’s go with it. Anyway, here are the thoughts of the LAMB community on It Comes At...
As you should already know by now, Natalie Wood (RIP) is our actor of the month in the newly-revived Acting School 101 feature, being hosted by me, MovieRob. Alongside the monthly blogathon held here on the LAMB site, I will also be hosting a monthly podcast episode devoted to the actor and their roles, and wouldn’t you know it but that’s this very show here!
I was joined by Kristen Lopez from the Journeys in Classic Film...
